Church History
Lecture Transcripts and Audio Recordings

The complete Church History lectures by Dr. Allan A. MacRae are available here as edited transcripts and audio. These lectures are courses offered at Faith Theological Seminary. The full transcripts were made in 1959-1961 and the full audio was recorded in 1967-69. Dr. MacRae lectured in Church History at Faith since the late 1940s alternating full year courses in Pre-Reformation and Post-Reformation church history every three years. By the late 1950s the outline for these courses had been well-developed so the written lectures from 1959-61 correlate well with the audio recordings of 1968-9.

In addition to these full transcripts and audio, a number of partial draft transcripts were made in other years. Since the topics and anecdotes discussed vary year to year, these incomplete transcripts can provide interesting additional material.

The edited transcripts are also available (together with many other books and reports) as Amazon Kindle ebooks.

About IBRI:

The Interdisciplinary Biblical Research Institute is a group of Christians who see a desperate need for men and women convinced of the complete reliability of the Bible who will:
     (1) get training both in Biblical studies and in some other academic discipline, and
     (2) use this training to help other Christians deal with the many areas where non-Christian teaching is so dominant today.
We believe that such trained people can be effective in removing many stumbling blocks that keep others from the Gospel.
